Editorial policy

TelcoBrief is a Brightcomms publication covering telecommunications in the United States, Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe.

Editing and publication are managed manually from our editorial task, with AI assistance for research, writing and translation. Each release is reviewed against its sources before publication. This workflow does not use an autonomous news generator or require an API key. Brightcomms remains responsible for publications and corrections.

Each story distinguishes the event date from publication and links to its sources. We prioritize regulators, operators and other primary documents, attributing company claims explicitly. We abstain when evidence is insufficient and impose no publishing quota.

Advertising is labeled separately. The relationship with Brightcomms is not editorial evidence. Demo stories and photographs are never presented as real events.

News articles target 300–450 words per language, with a justified range of 220–700. We require verifiable sources from at least two independently owned editorial domains, including a primary source when available. Announcements, availability and measured results remain distinct.

Editorial review checks facts, context and ES/EN/PT-BR equivalence. Technical controls block insufficient text, inaccessible sources and content without a current review. Photos carry credit and licensing and are not reused across stories; archive material is explicitly labeled.
